Syukur kepada Tuhan kerana dengan rahmat dan kasih-Nya, kita berpeluang untuk menganjurkan Kota Kinabalu Archdiocesan Youth Consultation (KKAYC) 2025 yang berlangsung pada 12 – 14 September 2025 di Catholic Archdiocesan Centre, Kota Kinabalu.

KKAYC merupakan satu ruang pertemuan bagi para pelayan orang muda di Keuskupan Agung Kota Kinabalu untuk berkumpul, berdoa, mendengar, berdialog dan berjalan bersama dalam semangat sinodal. Selaras dengan tema “Saksi Pengharapan (Witness of Hope)” dan merenung kepada suara yang dikongsikan para Orang Muda katolik (OMK) semasa Malaysian Catholic Youth Day (MCYD), di samping merayakan Jubli Orang Muda, KKAYC juga adalah satu laluan untuk memperkukuh perjalanan bersama dalam pelayanan, merangka hala tuju yang lebih jelas untuk pelayanan OMK di paroki dan Catholic Student Group (CSG) selaras dengan visi & misi Komisi Belia Keuskupan Agung Kota Kinabalu.

Diharapkan, semua pelayan OMK kembali ke Paroki dan CSG masing-masing dengan semangat baru, serta komitmen yang lebih teguh dalam misi Kristus.

OBJEKTIF
  1. Untuk merayakan Jubli Orang Muda sebagai Saksi Pengharapan.
  2. ⁠Agar para pelayan orang muda Berjalan Bersama untuk menjadi Saksi Pengharapan   dengan lebih bersemangat.
  3. Agar dapat mewujudkan hala tuju pelayanan orang muda dengan lebih jelas dan efektif.

MEET THE TEAM

FASILITATOR

Francisco Overe, fondly known as “Kiko” among friends and fellow youth ministers, is a passionate pastoral worker serving in the Malacca Johore Diocese (MJD). He actively accompanies young people through the MJD Young People Network and also contributes nationally as a member of the Malaysian Catholic Youth Ministers’ Committee (MCYMC).

With a heart for journeying with the young, Kiko has a unique gift of making philosophy, music, and synodality accessible and meaningful for youth. His approachable style and creativity allow him to connect deeply with young leaders, helping them see faith in fresh and practical ways.
Kiko also played a significant role in Malaysian Catholic Youth Day (MCYD) 2025, where he led the Synthesis Team and was the leading person in producing the official MCYD Synthesis Report.

This time, Kiko will serve as the main facilitator for the Kota Kinabalu Archdiocesan Youth Consultation (KKAYC)—a gathering of youth leaders from parishes and Catholic student groups in the Archdiocese of Kota Kinabalu.
